Few places on earth offer the crystal clear waters and deep blue skies of The Bahamas.  But masses of people visit our Islands each year, funneling through the crowded downtown streets of Nassau, fighting the crowds on Paradise Island to secure a small spot of sand for a few hours before having to return to their cruise ships.

Not many experience The Bahamas the way we offer.  Imagine not seeing another person all day except for your fellow explorers and guide.  The biggest discussion of the day is not which over-packed bar to check out tonight, but rather which deserted Island to make camp on to enjoy a cold Kalik while the sun sets.   Your daily activities won’t include catching a taxi to the next clichéd tourist activity, but will include beaching your Sea Pearl and snorkeling the pristine untouched coral reef right offshore.

Our 21' Sea Pearl sailboats draft only 12 inches and allow you to explore places most other boats can’t even access.   Gaze overboard as you glide over sand bars, coral reefs and the occasional deep channel while keeping your eyes out for sting rays, dolphins and turtles (to name a few).  The Exuma Cays are truly God’s gift to sailing as the 120 mile stretch of small islands offer great protection from ocean surge and strong winds.  Sail in comfort along the leeward side of deserted island after deserted island as the favorable winds are almost always behind you, easily pushing you forward, helping you explore the most beautiful and remote places in paradise.

See the Thunderball Caves featured in the classic Bond flick, or come face to face with the large wild swimming pigs roaming near Staniel Cay.  For the determined, there is enough time to make it all the way to the beautiful, but remote, Exuma Land and Sea Park.  This coveted section of the Exuma Cays is free from fishing and development and a must see for every explorer.  Due to the isolated location of the park, it is hard and expensive to reach. O.I.E. offers one of the best ways to gain access to the park, with a beautiful and relaxing trip along the way.

Not a great sailor?  We are here so you can experience the beautiful Exuma Cays with the help of our seasoned guides and easy to use Sea Pearls.  Our guides will lead you safely through the beautiful archipelago by day, and at night…don’t expect baked beans and corned beef.  Home cooked meals await you at the end of a fun filled day in the sun, including the fresh catch of the day.  Experienced enough to adventure on your own?  Check out our rentals section and let us provide you with the equipment to make your own adventure.
